Data Deletion Policy

We believe your data belongs to you. Here's how to permanently remove it from our systems.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)

In accordance with GDPR and other international privacy frameworks, BookBed provides you with the ability to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our servers.

How to Delete Your Data

You can request data deletion using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Sign in with your registered email and password.
  2. From the left navigation, choose Settings, then Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Account page and click Delete Account.
  4. Re-enter your password to authorize the deletion request.

Method 2: Email Request

Send an email to dusko@book-bed.com from the email address associated with your BookBed account. Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process this request within 30 days.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Immediate Removal: Your properties, widget configurations, and user profile are immediately hidden from public view.
  • Permanent Deletion: After a 14-day grace period, all data is permanently purged from our active databases.
  • Backups: Encrypted backups containing your data are automatically rotated and purged after 30 days.
  • Billing Data: Transaction history may be retained strictly for tax and legal compliance purposes (e.g., Stripe records).
