We've spent six years quietly building the booking platform we wished existed when we started out — and we're just getting started.
BookBed started in 2019 in a converted Zagreb loft. Our founders Amra and Tarik were juggling four short-stay apartments across two channels, three calendars, and one very stressed cleaner.
Every weekend ended the same way — a double booking, a missed payment, a Sunday-night message that ruined Monday. The tools they tried felt like they were built for hotel chains, not for the people who actually open the door.
So they built BookBed. Quietly, alongside the apartments. Today, twelve thousand hosts across Europe use it to run their stays — and we still answer support emails personally.
We build for the person who actually opens the door, hands over the key, and answers the 11pm message. Every roadmap decision starts with a host on a call.
A booking platform should fade into the background. No notifications fishing for engagement, no dashboards begging to be checked. It just works while you sleep.
Three plans, listed publicly, with no hidden fees per booking. We win when you do — not when we slice another percent off your weekend rate.
GDPR is a feature, not a footnote. Your data lives on EU servers and we will never sell it, surface it in ads, or hand it to a third-party scraper.
Half the company runs short-stays alongside their day job — which is why our roadmap rarely surprises anyone.
A senior team that hosts on the side. Every release ships through real listings before it reaches yours.
Headquartered in Zagreb. Engineering and host success spread across HR, BA, and RS time zones.
Half of us run short-stays. Pricing, calendars, and channel rules are designed against our own units before yours.
Move every reservation, calendar and channel into one calm dashboard. Most hosts are live in under an hour.
